This month’s Alline Salon Group stylist highlight is group leader and hairstylist Victoria Scott. Victoria works full time behind the chair and also leads two Supercuts locations in Wyoming and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
After owning and operating her own salon for 25 years, Victoria was ready to make a change. She decided to join the Supercuts, then Alline Salon Group, family five years ago! Tapping into her extensive experience and knowledge as both a stylist and business owner, Victoria successfully leads a tight-knit team of stylists at both Supercuts salons.
“We really are like a family,” said Victoria. “We are friends and get together outside of work, and we also value our close relationships with customers.”
Victoria started working in the industry after seeing both her mother and aunt have successful careers as hair stylists; hair styling was simply something she always wanted to do. She was drawn to the services and styling Supercuts offers its clients and credits her great team and supportive leadership for the salons’ success.
Victoria’s relationships with long-term clients are extremely important to her; a haircut or style is much more than a simple service. Over the years, Victoria has had clients whose spouses have passed away, and being able to provide a place of comfort and familiarity for them has been most rewarding.
When she isn’t working as a Supercuts stylist, you can find Victoria spending time camping with her husband and seven grandchildren. She also spends time tearing up the track on her local roller derby team!
