Alline Salon Group’s July Stylist Spotlight is on Janet Fagan, a seasoned veteran with over 35 years of industry experience.
“Janet goes above and beyond whenever she can,” said Tracey Malone, Director, Leadership & Brand Standards. “Additionally, her customer service skills are exceptional, and she is consistently the top retail salesperson in the Lake Erie region.”
Like many of our stylists, Janet has always had a passion for doing hair from a young age. In fact, she frequently would style her friends’ hair in her parents’ basement! After beauty school and gaining work experience, Janet eventually found her way to the Supercuts in Port Clinton, Ohio. She loves working with her colleagues, and says her manager, Amanda Rodriguez has been especially inspiring for her.
“Everyone treats you with respect and is just so nice,” she said. “I always feel appreciated by my managers and by Alline Salon Group and enjoy the continued learning opportunities offered.”
Janet particularly loves doing highlights and color for customers and enjoys finding new and exciting ways to provide this service with innovation and creativity. As the top retailer in her region, Janet has also found it rewarding to provide her customers with personalized recommendations for products that are ideal for their hair type. “Just going that extra mile to provide them with an explanation and personal attention has really made a difference,” she said.
As an experienced professional, Janet has seen and learned a lot over the years. She advises new stylists to never stop learning and to always be open minded for alternative ways to do things. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find Janet in the kitchen, cooking up something delicious!
