We love celebrating the talented stylists who make our salons a welcoming and vibrant place for clients. This month, we are excited to highlight Stephanie Steinmetz, a dedicated Holiday Hair stylist in Northampton, PA.
Stephanie’s journey to becoming a stylist began in an unexpected way. She first visited the salon as a client, returning later to purchase products. On one of her visits, she inquired about job openings—and the rest is history! Now, nearly 19 years later, she continues to bring skill, creativity, and warmth to her clients.
Starting her career at 28 years old, Stephanie took a leap into the beauty industry driven by her passion for making people feel good about themselves. She also had a personal motivation: her daughter, who has autism, struggled with haircuts. Stephanie wanted to learn how to make the experience easier and more comfortable for her daughter, and in doing so, she discovered her calling.
Stephanie truly enjoys the relationships with her clients she’s built over the years. Her favorite services to perform? Perms and color! She loves helping clients achieve the look they want and enjoys the power of a fresh style.
After working in the industry for nearly two decades, Stephanie offers this advice to those just starting out: “Don’t worry about being nervous or afraid of making mistakes. The more you practice, the better you get, and confidence will come with time.
When she’s not at work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her four children and making time to read a good book.
