While Alline Salon Group’s August Stylist of the Month, Pina Chubb, might be known for her expert haircuts and color services, her daily “motto” also precedes her! Pina’s saying, “it’s always a great day at Holiday Hair!” has not only endeared her to clients and colleagues but is the perfect illustration of her positive attitude and kind spirit.
“Pina always has a smile on her face and is ready and willing to go above and beyond for anyone,” said Rebecca Zeiger, Pina’s Group Leader at Alline Salon Group. “Her acts of kindness are beyond genuine – like no other.”
Originally working at Cost Cutters and now at the Holiday Hair location in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, Pina has been working for these brands for almost 25 years. Like many of her fellow colleagues, Pina has always had a passion for doing hair, even while working as an accountant for 36 years before she officially began her career as a Stylist. Pina most loves making people look and feel good and has taken this saying to heart by volunteering for many years with the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good, Feel Better” program.
“Not only do I truly enjoy what I do, but I work with the most amazing managers – Kathy and Rebecca. Both of these women have integrity, treat everyone equally and have created a wonderful work environment,” she said.
Pina loves continuing to learn from others and refine her craft, especially tapping into some of the younger stylists and her leaders. She feels most satisfied when her clients leave the chair feeling better about themselves than when they walked in.
